I realized while listening to this today, that this is the last record of Jack's style known by aficionados as Space Bass. Jack was playing a lot then with fuzz, and using sustain to maximum effect. His solo begins at 2:10, and is pretty much a tutorial on how to play as many permutations of a bass line one could possibly play. Hot Tuna is on tour this Summer, and is playing both Bozeman and Missoula.
