This Schnabel car sat idle for a year or more.

The Gerald Desmond Bridge was built in 1968, and replaced a rather scary pontoon bridge. The bridge connects Long Beach with Terminal Island. The bridge is now facing replacement,  due to both age related wear, and not having enough vertical clearance.
