Metropoli of the Eastern Mojave - Cadiz California

Cadiz, California (Kay-deez,) may seem like just another wide spot on the former ATSF Needles District, but the area lies over an aquifer dating back to Ice Age times when nearby Bristol Dry Lake was substantially larger than today. The Cadiz Company  grows grapes and other crops with this water, as can be seen in the Google map.
