An unusual coal movement last week. Only 40 cars, with 2, and 3 on the rear. Typically coal trains are 100+ cars 2+2 and a 4 unit mid-train manned helper. These 40 cars may actually be petroleum coke from the refineries at Billings. Could also be metallurgical coal.
A great view of the Big Belts with Mt. Edna and Spokane Butte.
