| Was not to be. The 45 was quickly set out to the roundhouse. Guess they only needed the extra horsepower for Bozeman and Winston Hills. The LM would probably get a manned helper for Mullan. |

| Later in the afternoon caught some north side light on this WB manifest at Carter Street. |
 |
| 355 gets picked up to be an unmanned for an EB manifest. |
 |
| Crew mentioned on the radio that the 355 would be set out at Livingston. |
