| A change to Mullan Pass Helper Operations (see below.)
Seen in the photo at Roberts St. in Helena is evidence of an operational change made possible with the opening of the Carter St. Yard. Instead of cutting in the helpers at Helena Jct., they were cut in at Carter Street. Formerly, cutting in helpers in town would have blocked three grade crossings, Roberts St., Montana Ave, and National Ave. This should not eliminate the Helena Jct. operation as many westbounds do not get yarded at Carter St.
