Mr. Draper Still Got That Taper - But he is Sagging a Bit

Been a spate of CN power lately on the MRL, but it was a surprise to see a Draper Taper.
7967 West gets out of town in a cloud of traction sand.
CN 2419 a  C40-8M built in March of 1990
Crossing Roberts Street. Is that sag caused by the weight of the fuel?
At Head Lane for the helpers. If there is any kind of weather in the Prickly Pear Valley it usually stacks up on the Elkhorns where we see spectacular uplift occurring.
The frame sag is really apparent in this tele view.
Almost wouldn't know this is a GE if you didn't know what you were looking at.

After Mr. Draper retired from being head of CN's  Motive Power Dept. that was it for the cowl carbody on future diesel orders. This former Oakway SD60  is even older than 2419, being built in November of 1986. It may not be in that gorgeous EMD blue, but its still around.
