| WB grainer ties up at Helena at 4:26 pm Wednesday, December 13. Haven't seen any red and silver on the point in months and here are two of then with very little chance of getting out in daylight. |

| The morning started out with several inches of snowfall, and then partial clearing. |

| Decamped from the depot to go to the Chinese Buffet near the Capitol, and the fog is beginning to drop from the hills into the valley. |

It's hard to believe that in the eve of 2018 there are any superfleet painted BNSF units still riding the rails. Surprised that they are that clean too.
