Taking the train to Osaka's airport? Until mid June you can ride these special limited time only Neo Zeon trains on the Nankai Railway's Rapi:t Express service to Kansai International Airport. These retro-future styled 50000 Series cars have been in service since 1994 and were designed by architect Hiroyuki Wakabayashi, but have been specially dolled up for Japan's legion of Anime fans. The trains remind me of the sorts of futuristic visions as portrayed in magazines like Modern Mechanix.
