A half car model of the new Bombardier BART cars is now on display in the Bay Area. The new cars have doors like those of a minivan, as BART touts on their website. This does not give me the warm fuzzys because minivan doors have always been a nemesis of mine, but as the website explains, they should be improvement over the present doors. The first 10 cars will arrive in 2015 for testing.
