"It's Always Something" - Lost Angeles No. 4

 Newsreel Theater - Los Angeles, California - July or August of 1953.

This theater was formally the Tower Theater. An uprising occurred in East Berlin on June 16 and 17th of 1953, and the Korean War truce was on July 27th. CNN is just a few years in the future, and many households, even in L.A., are without TV, so a theater that only showed newsreels was still part of the downtown L.A. landscape.  Indochina War, hmmmm? I wonder how that will turn out.
