| Blacktail, Montana - Horseshoe Curve on Marias Pass |
I hiked in to this spectacular curve in 1982, but all of those trees you see in the inside of the curve had grown up just a tad. I was there in September so was able to enjoy the recompense of filling my belly with ripe huckleberries, which grow in abundance on this slope.
