Hats off to Jay Leno for doing this bit. My Grandfather was a telegrapher with the CB&Q, and the SP, and used to wear one of those green shades. He used to correspond with Gene Autry, via Morse, when Gene was an operator with the Frisco. Thanks to Sheldon Perry for sending me a link to this video.
