Imagine you are an intelligent, observant person who know nothing about trains, yet one day you run across this box in a scrap yard. You have figured out that it is an air conditioning unit of some kind, but why on earth would it have two very over sized handles on it, and why would anyone bother to paint it red, yellow, black and silver in an asymmetric pattern?
