Two MRL former BN straight SD40s (SD40-2XR,) are just cutting off of their train as a BNSF SD70ACe DPU idles at the rear of an eastbound coal train. MRL 258 was built as C&S 877 in 1967, and once wore the Chinese Red and gray of the Burlington. BNSF 9063 was built last year.
