UP 9289 W. Haines, Oregon, may be a rainbow in the N. Powder River valley, but it is probably snowing like hell on up on Elkhorn Ridge.

Kodachrome 200 definitely had its flaws, but it made action photography possible in very gloomy weather. It actually performed a lot better in the rain because then you didn't notice the grain so much. Haines is a great place, get off of I-84 and follow the tracks on old US30. Haines is the turn off for the Anthony Lakes area, which is very much worth a trip on its own.
