Hoyt Street - Always Good for a Show

The three units in the foreground are sitting on tracks that used to be inside the roundhouse.  Note the filled-in inspection pits. The back wall of the roundhouse was about where the green dumpster is. Also note that there are still some cars in the yard, and I believe that the team track was operational until the end. Between 1994 and 1997 I passed by Hoyt St. every morning on the way to work, and there was almost always something interesting to see.
