Kaiser Terminal SW1500 at San Pedro, California Note the curved cab roof, and the improvised handrails. |
Antonis P. Lemos, Greek owned, Panama registered bulk carrier at the Kaiser Coal Terminal, San Pedro, California. |
A pair of UP C30-7s pull a cut of coal through the old SP/PE yard in San Pedro adjacent to Ports O'Call |
Coal movements off of the UP with a Harbor Belt crew, used to liven up an otherwise lightly trafficked piece of railroad. The Kaiser Coal Terminal was not popular with sailboat owners in nearby marinas as coal dust would soil their sails (boo hoo!) The terminal is now closed.
