Mystery Shays (Sort Of)

West Side Lumber Shay No. 8 - Location Unknown - 1968

Unidentified Shay at Hoyt St. Yard, Portland, Oregon - August 1968

I took both of these 127 b&w negs back in 1968. I am not sure where the West Side No. 8 was photographed. The shay at the bottom is seen adjacent to Hoyt. St. roundhouse in Portland. The only suspicion I have about the top photo is that it might be at the west end of the Peninsula Terminal,  near Heron Lakes Golf course.
