Strange that I can only find one obituary online, and from an Ottawa newspaper at that (link,) because Roswell Rudd was such a creative giant. He was avant garde, but also very accessible. It was people like him who sustained me during rock's dark ages, 1973-1978 when I listened almost to nothing but Jazz.
