Oh baby! Get a load of those rotors!

I will never forget the spectacle of LA Airway's arrivals and departures at Pomona, California in the late Sixties. The noise of the Sikorski's turboshaft engines was deafening. The helipad was adjacent to the SP station, and downtown Pomona, and I don't think many important phone calls were placed in the downtown office buildings during take-offs and landings. I don't know how far the proposed heliport next to LAUPT progressed, in any case, LA  Airways folded in 1971.
