Hipshot Percussion and Belle Star Mourn Stan Lynde

R.I.P. Stan Lynde  1931-2013

Without a doubt the best feature in the Sunday Los Angeles Times in the 1970's, was Stan Lynde's Rick O'Shay comic strip. The  stunning draftsmanship of the Montana landscape had a great appeal for someone from the Northwest stuck in L.A. Hipshot Percussion was a real man because he loved a cat, and didn't worship God in a church, but in the wilderness of the Rockies.
