Jesse "Big Daddy" Unruh had a long career as a California He served 8 terms as California State Assemblyman starting in 1954 from Assembly District 65, so this photo would have been taken around either the 1964, or 1966 election. The present day boundaries are shown in the map below. I am guessing the photo was taken somewhere on the Del Rosa loop. Today's AD 65 boundaries do not include the area of the loop, but as can be seen from the map, this area was deleted from the district.
