Canpotex Potash - East Portland - June 2012

Potash, that funny orange stuff from Western Canada. This train of empties is returning from Port of Portland Terminal 5 (https://www.portofportland.com/Terminal5.)

Screen print of Terminal 5 from Google Maps. Rivergate Industrial District

Train crossing under the pedestrian bridge to the Eastside Esplanade, a trail along the east bank of the Willamette.

Daddy Longlegs - SD9043MAC, not one of the ones sold to Norfolk Southern, so probably in storage today.

Diverging off to the Graham Line, I-84 to I-5 transition above.

Quite the vantage point.

The twin glass spires of the Oregon Convention Center.

Onward to Eastport, Idaho and the interchange with the CP.
