R.I.P. Nate Thurmond

I was a very intent Lakers fan back in the early Seventies. I think most Lakers fans had an enormous amount of respect for our cross-state rivals the Warriors. There is little doubt that no one played Wilt harder than Nate Thurmond, after of course Bill Russell. I remember the immense amount of respect that Chick Hearn had for Nate's play against Wilt. Nate basically had a wild gyration ready for any of Wilt's big power moves. I really miss those days.
