Helena In The "Dead" of Winter - Part 1

This has been the mildest of the three winters I have spent here in Helena. The snow has been gone from the Prickly Pear Valley for a month now, and we have been flirting with the 60s this past week. Back in December though, we had a real wet 8 inch snowfall, and as you can see from the photos above, the MRL takes it all in stride.
