Seven Units on the ML!

The Missoula Laurel arrives in Helena yesterday evening with a manned helper on the point.

Helper cuts off...

...and the rest of the train proceeds into the yard.

Picking up a switch list from the yard clerk.

A grainer empty catches up with the ML.

Just happened to see the fisherman's report on local TV on Saturday morning. The appearance of certain species of flies is seasonal, and advice was given on which flies to use. I don't know what kind of files were buzzing around as seen in the top photo, but I think that they are safe from getting eaten by trout in downtown  Helena.

This is the first time I have seen the ML come into town with a manned helper on the point.
Both the ML, and the LM get yarded at Helena, and always have lots of work to do.
