Survivior on Lyndale Ave.




This apartment building, just a block from the present MRL Helena Depot, is the original Northern Pacific Depot. Moved to this location in 1903, it  has served as a church (hence the belltower,) and a rug factory, before becoming apartments. In the middle of the night, can the residents hear ghostly morse code coming from the operator bay?  Information and photo below, from the excellent Helena As She Was website.
