Louisville Vertical Curve and a Meet at Winston

The ML approaches the west switch of  Louisville, Montana climbing Winston Hill.

Red Mountain looms in the distance. Tracks are almost north/south here.

Just a little bit of a different perspective with a wide angle.

Spokane Hills, the Missouri River is on the other side of this formation.

West end of Winston, that's the south end of the big butte seen above.

The ML takes the main for a meet at Winston.

The ML held the main for a about 15 minutes waiting for this coal loads to grind up the hill.

Back at the marvelous reverse curve at Louisville.

And safe and sound at Helena
