In the earlier days of this blog, I posted several features called the "Why Leave Home Department," that showcased some of the "foreign power" that was making its way into Vancouver, Washington. When I was a teenager the greatest thrill of all was to see Frisco power (even U25Bs,) come in to LA on the UP. Now, of course the thrill is not quite the same, but still, how cool is it to see KCS units in Montana? Photos below are at Austin.
