Ford River Rouge Plant

It is very interesting to listen to the business rationale for the vertically integrated River Rouge plant, which is in stark contrast to the outsourcing model, as ironically advocated by Peter Drucker, who analysed rival GM.

Keep an eye out for one Ford's GE 125 ton center-cabs at 7:22 in the video. A total of eight were built for Ford.

Diego Rivera's Detroit Mural was based on his study of River Rouge.
