Shorpy has a great photograph today of an Adlai Stevenson 1952 motorcade in downtown San Francisco. Visible in the photo is a PSA ticket office, this led me to do an image search and find this marvelous painting of the pre-smile PSA.

Check out this very comprehensive PSA website. Must have been a great company to work for judging from all of the contributions made to document the history of its operations.
