If You Squint......Othello, Washington (And a bit of the Blarney too)

I could not help but flash on Othello, Washington on the Milwaukee Road when I saw this photo sent to me by Flavio Lage. Same general topography, and catenary too. This line is Irish gauge, 5'3".  The 3000 volt electrification was de-electrified in 1999. One has to wonder  if the decision to scrap it is now regretted, but like the Milwaukee Road, it was like an isolated orphan.
