The SP S-12 Chronicles - 2100

SP Baldwin S12 2100
Twelve Hundred Horsepower out of Six Turbocharged Cylnders from a De La Vergne 606A engine. These locomotives were stalwarts of the Portland (later Oregon) Division for twenty years, and had a favorable reputation with crews for their pulling ability. I grew up with these diesels in black and orange in Corvallis. It was only natural that Corvallis was served by black and orange diesels, after all Oregon State College colors  were the same!
