Having lived in New Mexico, I know just how loud Cicadas can be on a hot summer afternoon. Try as they might the giant Russian diesels win, taking this pulpwood train over a very impressive horseshoe curve. One comment notes that this line is now electrified. Another comment laments that the locos are not "eco-friendly." Besides getting the no shit Sherlock award for the day, neither is cutting down trees to make toilet paper.
