Heat Antidote - Vancouver Snow Storm 1996

C&NW "Racoon" 8712 leads a train across Columbia Draw in Vancouver, Washington.

With the USA Today weather map showing almost all orange across the country, I thought I would post a couple of snow shots, for at least some visual relief. Thanks to the Columbia Gorge effect, Vancouver usually gets more snow than Portland, and its worth a day of cold sodden shoes to stand out on the platform and shoot trains.
