Cabeeses to Pieces

It's getting near the end of the caboose era in the late Eighties,  and SP began to store many of its older cabooses. Photos below were taken at the old Pacific Electric Yard in San Bernardino. I had followed the "All Cities Local" from Colton,  otherwise I would never have found this dead line.  Most are older cabooses on the system,  and as you can see from the stencils, many had been assigned to locals in Arizona and New Mexico.
