Virlon,We moved to Walnut in 1965, and I made my first trips on my old Schwinn Typhoon in 1966 or 67, and the hump was in by then.
I think it was later than 66 or 67. I worked the classifier job, which was prior to the hump yard being built, and that was 1969. As soon as the SP opened the hump, my crew and I were the first crew to hump cars over the new mini hump.Virlon
