A Busy Afternoon on the East Bank of the Willamette

UP eastbound empty Canpotex potash empties at East Portland, Oregon - June 5, 2012

One of five trains dispatched out of Albina Yard within a few hours on a late spring afternoon. The Himalayan blackberries are in full bloom, and the potash empties are about to head up the Graham line via Sullivan's Gulch, which the UP shares with I-84 and the TriMet Max.  Photos taken from the East Side Esplanade. More tomorrow.
